Stayed DVC 1st time

We went in May for our first time as DVC owners! It was amazing. It took me so long to post it on here because we actually were sad when we came home. we stayed at Kidani for 8 days, Savannah view, and it really was wonderful. Send the people who are on the fence abou DVC my way, because I will tell them it's awesome! Obviously the room could have been cleaner, as others have mentioned, but I cannot complain about anything else. Every park was great. Food was awesome. This really is our other home!

Aww glad you had a wonderful trip . This is exactly how we feel each time we leave. We literally want to cry as we're walking out the doors. I find the best way to help the post depression is to immediately start planning the next .

OP, I'm so glad you enjoyed your first DVC stay. Our first was over 10 years ago, and we've been nothing but pleased for 10 years.

Glad you had a great trip. We liked it so much that we bought more contracts. We now own at SSR, BLT, & BWV and take two trips a year. It makes it a little bit easier to leave - little bit.

Tommy O.... The rooms are clean; however, I am a very detailed person and saw dust, prints, and dirt everywhere. It could be better. It was still wonderful accommodations!

I totally understand about the sad part! We just got back today. The trips are so great that it is hard to face when they are over. It doesn't change even after 8 years of DVC trips! I think the trips are even better now that the kids are teens. I never thought I would say that! Glad you had a good trip.

This is the truth for us as well. I enjoy going with my young adult children now much more than when they were younger.

Glad you had a great trip! Our DVC home is AK Kidani and we had our first DVC stay in March 2010 in a 2-bedroom Savannah view and it was AMAZING!!! We have also stayed at BWV, OKW and SSR... and we will be checking into OKW again this Sunday... (Currently at Windsor Hills cuz we only had enough points for 5 nights at OKW... can't wait to move!!)

When we got to Kidani for our first DVC stay, we originally planned on hitting a park after we got there... then decided we weren't going to have time but the kids actually preferred to just stay and explore the resort... they LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it!!!! And there was nothing better than sitting out on the balcony at the end of the day with a glass of wine watching the animals... so relaxing!!!
