DH and I just returned from our stay in the north wing from 8/1-8/8. I had seen pics online of the colors but seeing it in person is another story all together. When we entered our room, we both looked around at the colors and burst into laughter. Every color featured in that room is present in our basement! I am not joking! We bought the house from a very sweet couple in their early 60's. The wife told us that they went to Disney a few years ago and her husband loved all the colors. So when they returned, he went to Home Depot and bought lots of the Disney colored paints. Well, now I know where they stayed!!!!! I swear, I could have packed the bedpread and turned it into a slip cover for a couch and it would go perfectly in our basement!
On a serious note, we did enjoy our stay. DH has stayed in the Poly many times as a child and teenager. I have never stayed at any Disney resort(my previous trips were in high school with the band and we stayed off property) The decor was a bit wild but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the service was great! We loved being able to walk to the Magic Kingdom. This trip was to celebrate our 2nd anniversary and on the actual day, 8/2, Cinderella and Prince Charming left us balloons and a card! We both loved our stay and will gladly stay there again!
