Checked out the hotels on tripadvisor and this one looked quite good, so it's booked.

Now I'm bothered that it will take us too long to get to Disney.

Planning on going to Disney with breaks during the day.

Is this hotel too far away.

I have a choice of this or

Sheraton Park

Embassy Suites, but this cost a bit more

Sheraton Anaheim

Hyatt orange county

These are the only choices I have as booked with a UK TA

Planning on seeing other parts of LA whilst we are there for the week, then we move onto San Diago and staying at Humprey half moon.

Is it the Staybridge Suites on Manchester? Because if it is that's quite the trek...

Have you checked out Bret's Disney lodging map? http://www.geocities.com/ashpsyche/DisneylandLinkMap.html It shows the distances of various hotels, may be helpful in your decision. I can't help too much on the other places you've mentioned as I've never stayed in any of them.

If it's the Staybridge over by the freeway, we've stayed there. The red trolley stops there, and it takes around ten minutes to get to the park (they stop at a few other hotels along the way).

We thought the hotel was nice, although we stayed when it had just opened. We heard very little freeway noise, which was good.

I don't think you've made a bad choice!
