We're going to Disney for Easter, and staying at Saratoga Springs for 6 nights. We want to go to Sea World and just relax for the 3 days before, has everyone every stayed at Staybridge Suites and if yes which one is better Buena Vista or International Drive?

There are 5 of us DD (21), DS 17, DH, Mother (83) and me. We need two bedrooms and it's really nice to have a kitchen for snacks.

If anyother suggestions, please reply.
Thanks

We have stayed at both Staybridge Suite locations. The hotels are great! I would totally recommend them. I think you should try to stay at the one on Int'l Drive because that would be closer to SeaWorld. The one in LBV is down the road from Crossroads and DTD and pretty close to SSR. But other than different locations, they're pretty similar and both very nice.:cool2: :cool2:

We have only stayed at the LBV location and it's really nice.

:thumbsup2 Highly recommend them! We've stayed at many Staybridge Suites across the country and have never had a problem.

We stayed at the I drive location in 2005 as I was attending a conference at the convention center. It's there again in 2008 and I think we will stay there again. The suites are very roomy, breakfast was typical, and they even had an appetizer thing during the week at about 5 pm.

Great info as we are staying there in Jan 08. Are the 1 bdr suites a 2 bdr with the 2nd bdr locked out? How is the pool in Jan, it says it is heated and are there lots of kids there for my son to play with?

It's a 1 bdrm suite with the bathroom/sink in the middle, then a door, then the bedroom. So if you were looking into the suite you'd see a pull-out couch on one side and a mini bar (fridge, micro, sink and cabinets) on the other. Then comes the bathroom/sink area in the middle then the bedroom. If you go to their website (buenavistasuites.com) they have pics. The only closing door is on the bedroom.
The pool in Jan is iffy. Depends on the weather. We were there in May and there were a handful of kids to play with for our boys. Sometimes more towards evening. They had a pull shower near the pool that my boys enjoyed playing with. We brought floatation toys because the pool area is pretty basic - just a pool.

Buenavistasuites.com is a different hotel. I am not sure if you put the wrong link in or thought of a different hotel. sborlando.com LBV is where we are staying. Thanks for the info.

Ooops! Sorry about that! I have been responding to 2 threads - Buena Vista Suites and this one for Staybridge. Must have got the threads confused. I better go check the other thread. We've had good luck at both hotels.
The one bedrooms at Staybridge have a full kitchen connected to the living room w/ pull out couch and then the bedroom & bathroom are off to the side. The doors to our 1 bdrm were simple louver doors which closed but not lock.

We stayed at the Int'l Drive location this past March. We were pleased with the hotel, the breakfast included was great. We had a room with two bedrooms, small kitchen, living room and two bathrooms. We rarely used the kitchen though!
The manager and staff were great and the pool was nice, small enough for young kids. There was also a BBQ one night we were there with hamburgers and hot dogs - other stuff too. And the appetizer nights in the bar. We would stay here again.
The hotel was clean and well maintained. The laundry room was clean and all the machines were working.

I wonder if they will upgrade me for free since I am a priorty points holder and it is my B day when I get there?

Thanks for the info.

We have never actually stayed at Staybridge Suites in Orlando but we have stayed elsewhere and have to say we found it excellent (and we are quite fussy). We had a two bedroomed suite for the five of us and we would certainly use them again as a hotel of choice - in Orlando we use a four bedroomed villa we know of so don't need a hotel.
