Hi everyone

Firstly thanks to everyone who has given me lots of advice so far. The plans have moved on a little. Myself, DH & 2DS (7&10) travelling for 2 weeks, starting 9th August 2005. :grouphug:

Can't decide if it's better to stay all the time in WDW or Intl Dr or (as we will only be making the trip once and we will also be visiting other attractions in the area) would 1wk WDW & 1 wk Intl Dr be a better idea? DS gets very tired walking etc so I feel that it would be a better idea to be near accom for when it all gets a bit too much for him so that we can head home for a rest in the afternoon - any advice? Thinking of Value or Moderate accomodation in WDW - what do you recommend. Also reckon we will hire a car for a bit of freedom - would you recommend it for the full 2 weeks or just some of the time.

Love reading about all your experiences - keep up the good work.

My vote is definetly for on the WDW grounds. We usually make 3 - 4 trips to WDW a year (dvc members). Last year for one of our trips, DH's work was having a conference and the kids and I tagged along. The conference was at a hotel on Int'l drive, so we stayed there. YUCK! The hotel was not the issue. There is just a ton of traffic to deal with on Int'l drive, so to go anywhere it was not an easy task. Even when out by the pool area, you could hear the traffic right there.

If you are not planning on having a car for the duration of you trip, I know that at several of the WDW resorts, there are car rental agencies. Not sure of which ones with out researching, we usually drive down, or rent at the airport if we fly.
