Stay & Scream - do I have this right?

Just ordered the tickets for my big kids and nephews to do HHN on our last night (a Sun) - I also got them each an express pass since the park closes at midnight instead of 2 AM on sundays. We already have our day tickets for the parks ( 3 day/2 park) and they will be in the park that day. Do I have this right - they just make sure they're in IOA before it closes and they will be able to show their HHN and stay for Stay & Scream, getting an hour head-start before they reopen for HHN. If you already have a park ticket for the day you don't need anything but the HHN ticket to be able to do stay & scream, right? I hope so, I'm about 'ticketed' out at this point - my sis and I will be 'hiding' back at the hotel with the little ones - we're big scaredy-cats!!
PS: thanks for all the AP ticket info ! - the tickets combined came to just over $50 each and I was able to buy all 6 that I needed and confirmed that no AP holder has to be present for them to use the tickets.

Yep, you've got everything correct. They're all set for Stay and Scream.
