It's relatively quiet here (knock wood) it even warmed up to 30 degrees today. I was pretty happy with that.

We just missed that storm. It passed just to the south of Indy. Hopefully you guys won't get hit too bad.

NO,NO,NO,NO,NO!!! We can't get that much again! I'm supposed to be holding auditions for my Middle School's production tomorrow afternoon. We're already a month behind due to the books not being ordered in time by my producer. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! We're never going to get this show off the ground. And I'm sick of soveling!

Well... no auditions. School was let out early yesterday and is closed today. Haven't been outside yet to assess the situation, but it looks like there are at least six inches out there with some ice. Where's that shovel.... again.

Well, I've been enjoying the high 60s and 70 degree weather we've been having here and feeling glad I don't live in all that snow when last night we got a sudden, good sized jolt. Yes, an earthquake. It reminded me that California isn't all about good weather. I guess no matter where you live it is always something.

Got 10 inches northwest of Boston! The weathermen all got it wrong predicting 3-5! This is our 4th snow day in 3 weeks! Kids are in school until June 22nd! Absolutely ridiculous weather!

Of course all of this happens when I am supposed to be driving to Florida! Jen, my best friend, starts the DCP on Monday and this storm landed smack dab in the middle of our road trip!

Current plan is to take it slow today and get as far as we can. Hopefully we'll be in FL by Saturday at the latest.

We were hit with just over 14 inches of snow! It took forever to find my car and my school district threatened a delayed opening and then later closed. I was sweating it for a bit there though!

Okay, I lied... just got back in from shoveling with DH... there was at least 10 inches out there, with a 1-2" layer of ice underneath. Hopefully the sun will work a little magic for us.
