Reservations for June 12th-19th!! Can't wait. Kids 8 & 11. 2nd trip to Disney. Never been to Universal. As of now I have reservations for whole trip in the Disney area. I am worried Universal will be very busy & wondering if it would be worth it to stay a few night onsite at Universal to get the Express. (To buy the express w/o staying on site doubles the price of the ticket!!). My husband really does not want to move hotels... but I really do not want to spend my whole trip waiting in lines!!

Hey-

How many days are you planning on for Universal?

We are splitting our stay between a DTD Hotel and 2 nights at Royal Pacific!
I can't believe I talked my hubby into it, but the benefits far outweighed the negatives of moving hotels.

I totally over pack and over plan when we go to Disney. I am determined I am not going to do that this time!

We actually purchased 1 annual pass and saved $160.00 for the 2 nights of staying onsite.

I say if you can talk him into it, go for it!

We are renting a house from june 12-26. We decided to book 1 night at a Universal hotel for that reason. I think it will be worth it to have the express pass since we are going the 19/20 and Transformers opens on the 20th.

I'd definitely move. If you check in early, they'll give you your room key which you use to print out your express passes. When you stay onsite you get early admission and unlimited express for the whole day you check in and the whole day you check out.

Believe me, your husband will be thanking you and your kids will think you're wonderful.

book the darkside resort for the end of your motherland stay.

i'll seem like 2 different vacations.

check out the UO hotel site to determine if they have rooms available.
June 12th is coming up soon.

This is the best answer. Stay at US for the last 2 night and finish your vacation the real relaxing way. Once you get the VIP treatment, unlimited express, and all the convenient thing of staying onsite you will be spoiled. :thumbsup2

Agree with staying at UO for your last two nights. Once your husband gets a taste of the unlimited ep, he will not want to do it any other way on your future trips. And that is coming from a wife who has a hubbie who only likes to save money, not spend it. :rotfl:
