Hi-the current offer they just started-stay more and get 25-30% off a deluxe or villa-I know rooms and dates are limited, Just wondering for August all I am finding for a 2 bedroom is Saratoga, which is fine, we like that resort, but has anyone else seen a 2 bedroom anywhere else? I was also looking for a 1 bedroom at Bay Lake, but doesn't look like that room is available. Just wondering if anyone else found a 2 bedroom with this offer, or perhaps a 1 bedroom at BL.
Thanks

I just checked playing around with some dates in August and am seeing 2 Bedrooms at OKW and SSR and that’s it.

BLT is undergoing major renovations so availability is bound to be limited, much of the inventory is going to be offline as they refurb rooms. But availability is also contingent upon occupancy forecasts. It could be that Disney doesn’t believe they need to discount the larger villas because there’s fewer of them and people have booked them up on points stays. I’m not too familiar with DVC as I’m not a member but iirc August is one of the lower point chart times and people probably booked their home resorts back when it opened up.

Good points about BLT. Copper Creek is also undergoing renovations through September, so that may limit 2BR's there, too. And I do believe 2BR's can be tricky to get at a lot of resorts because at many, the 2BR's are a combo of a studio and a 1BR. So if a studio is booked, that takes out a 2BR. There are dedicated, too, but many are not. And the point difference between the 1BR and 2BR is not too crazy. The OG Poly is all studios, too, there are 2BR's at the Tower.

August is an interesting month when are you looking to stay, the first part or near the end of the month? With the MNSSHP starting in August bookings have changed in the last 2 year.

By August inventory should be back to normal or very near since refubs should be complete in September for both BLT, and CCV.

Ok thanks. Our dates aren't definite yet, probably beginning of the month, or middle, not the end. I think the price for the 2 bedrooms are pretty good considering you're getting 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, full kitchen etc. I think it's close to 1 night at a "regular" room at one of Universal's premier resorts. I know there are perks to staying on property at Universal but just comparing room to room you get so much more at one of the villas.

A 2BR villa at Disney is not likely to be too close to the price of a regular room at a premier Universal resort once their discounts drop. At Copper Creek in September (a lower cost resort and a slower season), a 2BR basically starts at $1500 a night before taxes, if you can actually find a 2BR. Most are booked by DVC owners at the 11 month mark (which has passed). They do release some to be "sold" on the regular Disney site, but there are not many.
