Hello!
I usually stay onsite at Disney, but this year I'm looking to stay at Universal. If I do, will I get early entry into HHN?

Thanks!

As far as I'm aware there is no early entry into HHN. However if you are in the park before the night starts then you are moved to a holding area within the park while things are set up whereas if you only have a ticket for the event then you are not allowed to enter the park before the night begins. Therefore I suppose if you are already in the park you are able to get a bit of a jump on those outside of it.

Please correct me if I'm wrong though....

As far as I know you're right. One additional thing to add, if you are waiting until the beginning of HHN to enter the park, there is a separate entrance for onsite quest that will get you in quicker.

Thank you for your responses! So maybe I should just spend the afternoon at the park doing the rides and then spend time in the holding queue reserved for guests already in the park. I remember doing that one year and we were able to get into three houses with no lines before the onslaught of HHN eve guests.

the separate hotel guest entry is from 6 pm and usuallly closes at 8 pm

you need to show your hhn ticket to use it and go thru the metal detector set up at that site.
you are sent to the stay and scream holding area and wait there for hhn early opening.

that has how it has been handled in the past years.
no idea if it will continue this year, but, hope it does.

Hi Macraven :)
Yesssss, I knew there was some sort of early entry because I remember getting a few houses finished before it got crowded.
Okay, so I'm going to reserve Cabana Bay
Thanks!
