Stay at DLH for one night?

We are arriving next Monday in the morning, and will be visiting the Disney parks on Tues-Wed. I am considering getting a room at the Disneyland Hotel just for Monday so we can play at the hotel., and then getting a hotel in the Anaheim area through Priceline for Tuesday-Wednesday. Are there any problems with this plan, such as parking? Also, is it worth the estimated extra $200? It looks like it might be too cold for the pool.

Thanks so much...we've done DW to death, but not DL and this is a last minute trip.

We've done this several times ~ we're AP holders so no MM for us unless we stay onsite, I make it so our last day or 2nd day is a MM day so we spend either our last or first night on site *so check out day is a MM day, let's see we've done this at PP, GCH & DLH (twice there) ~ at the Grand our check in day was a block out day for us so we took it easy and enjoyed the hotel(s) had a character meal, swam @ the DLH pool cause the one of the Grand's pool was being refurbished so we were able to choose to swim at the DLH pool which is a fun one.

Thanks, I hadn't even considered the MM aspect. It might be a struggle to get everyone up with the time change.

??? ~ unless you live in HI the time change is on your side. Right now for me it's 10:30 am on the west coast it's 9:30 am ~ if you are in the CT time zone it's 11:30 am and if you're in the ET time zone it's 12:30pm right now!

Why just the 2 days? I'd visit on Monday as well, it is Spring Break time and even in low crowds 3 days *especially if it's your 1st visit or you haven't been in a long time* is good but more is better.

??? ~ unless you live in HI the time change is on your side. Right now for me it's 10:30 am on the west coast it's 9:30 am ~ if you are in the CT time zone it's 11:30 am and if you're in the ET time zone it's 12:30pm right now!

Holy smokes you're right!! We'll be up bright and early. Although...everyone else will too. Makes those MMs seem even better.

True, plus it looks like 3 day passes aren't much more than 2 day passes, if any.

I'm still in the planning stages and I thought we might want to just hang out at the hotel.
