Just wondering if anyone (other than this geek!) has been keeping up with the amount of pirate items without a pirate costume. It has actually become a game with us to see how many codes it will take if we ever get the costume and to see what the breakdown of items is. Here is what we have so far:

Posters = 108
Monkey = 60
Chest = 47
Organ = 47
Costume = 0
Painful Fingers = 8
Useless Thumbs = 2

Let me know if this code distribution is in line with yours. I want to get the costume, but we are having fun with tracking this in the meantime.

haha sounds about right to me :)

I haven't done the counts but I can tell you more or less that I have most in order:

Posters
Boxes
Monkeys
Organs

I have not received a costume yet, after having entered 400 codes. I get the posters the most followed by the dead man's chest. I get the organ's and monkey's least of all.

I have entered about 450 codes and until last night sold eveything and netted around 30,000 credits. No costume. I have 4 more pages of codes to enter and then I think I am going to forget it.

So Far... (With about 200 codes left to enter, and I am not going to get more, costume or not that is more than enough!!!)

Posters - 123
Chests - 71
Organs - 65
Monkeys - 44
Costumes - 0
Sore Fingers - 8
Useless Thumbs - 2
Frustrations - Countless

I've put in about 500 codes, and it runs almost even:

20% monkey
20% box
20% organ
40% poster

The random codes that would be costumes are instead giving us extra posters, and one in a million (just a guess) give you the costume.

Just curious, how does VMK think that these type of statistics is teaching us patience? Just sell the darn costume for goodness sake!

I had posted befor it was runnig around
40-42% posters
25% organ
17% monkeys
15% chests
and estimating costume at .03%

the more I enter the more everything but the organs even out. I will try to get a count and post new totals with percentages - I have been watching each batch but after my warning the stuff is spread out and i don't have total numbers.

And by the way I agree Califgirl these numbers are crazy for them to think we are not all going to enter a thousand codes - but we won't rehash that here.

All my codes are in an excel spread sheet and I have marked what each code has redeemed! :banana: so I will have a pie chart soon :teacher:

I like pie!!! Can I get mine A La Mode?

I can't play both the game and VMK at once (silly AOL and all :badpc: ), so I have to save a bunch of codes in a Word document. I have it set up so it's numbered, and as I enter each code, I type next to it what it was (C for Dead Man's Chest, M for monkey, P for poster, and O for organ). Haven't counted the first day's 80 items, but yesterday I got:

44 posters
25 organs
24 Dead Man's Chests
22 Monkeys

So, seemingly the posters are most common, and the other 3 are pretty evenly split.

Well, so far I have:

Posters: 82
Monkey: 39
Organ: 37
Chest: 28
Costume: 0

I still have a bunch more codes to enter on mules.

These odds are increasingly insane. :sad2:
