Can someone help me please. I can't visualize what a Navigator Verandah looks like. I need to know what it looks like on the dream and wonder.

Pictures if you have them. Thanks

A navigators verandah does not have a door going out to the verandah. Instead it has a large porthole, large enough to sit in. Some cabins have two like in this picture.

Uh, that is not a navigator's verandah. That is an oceanview room. A verandah is a balcony. The navigator's verandah is partially enclosed, with a solid whitewall, and often a little (open) porthole in the wall. You still have a balcony to go outside on.

Just do a Google Image search for "Navigator's Verandah Disney Cruise Line." You will see several examples. They can look pretty different in various locations on the ship.

The navigator verandah rooms are different on the classic ships than on the Dream class. On the classic ships, it is what DLgal describes above, partially enclosed with an open porthole. On the Dream/Fantasy, they are like the regular verandahs but with slight obstructions.

Here's a thread with pictures of the navigator veranda on the classic ships:

Here's a link to a picture on allears.net of a navigator veranda on the Dream class ships:

Looks like cat 8A or 9A on the Dream to me. Awesome cabin! Very roomy. But, a navigator's veranda is actually a veranda. It's just obstructed a bit.

Yeah, I was wrong on the information I gave.

One suggestion, if you find out that you put out something wrong, you can go and edit your post and either delete your text or add something at the top saying that you now know that what you posted was wrong, but that you are leaving it so other people can understand the following discussion. :goodvibes Some people might not bother to read on after your first reply and would not find out that what is out there was wrong. At the bottom of your own post it says "Edit" in blue print, if you click on there, you can edit your own post.

Here is a good pic to see an example of what they mean. You see how that white wall comes down a bit, but you would have to stand on that side to even notice. This is Cat 7A room 9152 on the Dream taken in Dec 2015
