Staterooms avail on Costco but not DCL?

I just booked a family OV verandah for March 11th for my family of 5

Was having trouble getting my credit card payment processed on Costco and thought I'd try just booking with DCL directly and transferring to Costco after the fact. The odd thing was the same staterooms I saw available on Costco were not on the DCL site. Has that happened to anyone?

In any case, I was able to get the booking done on Costco eventually, and the reservation is reflected on my DCL account, so assume all good there.

I’ve seen rooms available on Costco but not on DCL and vice versa. I’ve heard that DCL doesn’t always list all rooms available on their website and I’ve noticed sometimes on Costco’s website some of the rooms are “less desirable” but if you call Costco they can book any room available on the DCL site.

Also if you clicked on it on Costco it probably took it out of DCL inventory since it is technically on hold for you to complete your reservation.

No, there were 4 staterooms available on Costco in the same vicinity, on DCL it's completely sold out

I've noticed DCL has started limiting what rooms you see as available based on how many people are in your party. Maybe Costco is not doing that? Try searching DCL's site with a different number of people.

Yup that was it! They automatically block when your party is 5, guess they want people calling in to book those rooms?

Not all family rooms sleep 5. I've been in a family Oceanview room that didn't have the pull down bed. It only slept 4. Those were probably the rooms that came up when you put in 4 people instead of 5.
