We received the "Bon Voyage" as a gift and did enjoy it. We are not big drinkers, but the champagne was very tasty as were the plate of treats that came along with it. I am attaching a photo below of the tray, the bottle of champagne is in the ice bucket chilling.

It was really tasty, I may just order it again for this year, although there are a LOT of petit fours, the strawberries were my personal favorite.

Do the petit fours etc need eating quickly (not that I can imagine they would stay round for very long with my lot).

What are they apart from chocolate covered strawberries?

Is the champagne cold?

Do you have to book this through DCL when you get the excursions booklet or can you do it through your TA before then?

Sorry, so many questions!

Andy, Does it include the champagne glasses or are they DCL's, and if they are included do they have anything etched on them.

We ordered this as well and the deserts were really good. The champagne is a little dry, & is not bad. We are not fans of dry wine/champagne, but we still enjoyed it I am pretty sure the champagne was in ice. We finished eating our on Sunday, so they did last a little while. The glasses did not have anything on them & we did not keep them. Don't know if we could have.

The bottle of champagne was in a bucket that was full of ice. the glasses were taken by our room steward after we were finished with them. My Dw and I each had one glass of champagne, then we gave the rest to my mom and sister who were in the cabin next to us.

It can be ordered through DCL by calling 1-800-601-8455, and make sure you no later than 48 hours before your sail date.

I know it's vacation but I have to ask...is it expensive for the Bon Voyage treats? They look so delicious!

The following is from the DCL Gifts booklet:

My MIL & FIL treated myself, DH & DD to 7 nt Western this past Sept. Yes, I know, quite a treat! We ordered the "Bon Voyage"for them as a "Thank You" & a nice way to start off cruise. It was wonderful! Got MIL & I in the mood for that midnight dessert buffet

:cake:

FYI, if you aren't drinkers, you can order this with Sparkling Apple Cider. We got one as a gift from our TA and it came with the apple cider! We are drinkers, but that was some YUMMY apple cider!
