Stateroom 8046

WE have recently returned from a 4 night cruise on Wonder in a cat 5 ( 7618 ) I have been looking to book another 4 night cruise for next year but have the chance of a cat. 3 room number 8046. Any thoughts.

I only disadvantage would be that this stateroom is located under the Goofy Pool toward Pinnochio's Pizzeria and you most likely will hear the noise from moving of furniture and cleaning in early morning hours and of course, any noise from the Deck Party in the evening. HTH

we have stayed in several rooms in this vicinity and noise is noticable in the early morning and throughout the day. Especially noticable are kids running, chairs scooting and the bass from the music. Deck parties wrap up by 10 usually so not a problem going to bed. We bring table top fans to drown out the noise so it usually does not wake us in the AM (sometimes as early as 5:00am) when they put out all the chairs. If you bring fans, don't forget extension cords as outlets are not always where you want to place the fan.

We were a little further aft in 8086 on the 4 day over Easter. We love the extra room - and the concierge service..... We'll be in 8048 on the 10 day Christmas cruise.... I think that the noise and such will be minor distractions.... I'm a sound sleeper - but DW is a light sleeper - but noise from above when we stayed in 8602 last year really didn't bother us - we did hear them rearranging Beach Blanket Buffet - but it really wasn't an issue for us.

We were just in 8048 and the noise was definitely there for awhile at night ,probably over before midnight. The morning arranging of chairs can be heard also but didn't bother me much. We brought a white noise machine but didn't use it.

On our last 2 cruises we were in 8030 just a few doors down from 8048 and although there was a little noise from above, it should not deter you from getting one of those amazing suites. These rooms are so terrific that the little noise that you may hear will be far outweighed by the great accomodations and location on deck 8. We will be back in 8030 in a few days and can't wait. I say go for the suite and don't worry about the noise. You will definately not be sorry that you did.
