Has anyone ever stayed in stateroom 7620, we just booked it for a cruise in 2005 and wondered if anyone had any pics, advice, etc. Thanks

We just got back from the Wonder 3 day after staying in 7606! We thought it was awesome being on deck 7 halfway between Beach Blanket(9) and the Clubs(5)! You are gonna have the best time! Your view of Cast Away Cay is beautiful and you won't want to leave! I think aft is best if you can get it!:Pinkbounc :bounce::wave: ::yes::

Congratuations, tigger12jb, don't know if you realize it but you have paid for a category 7 but are actually getting a category 6!!!. Check out Barb and Tony's site for pictures: http://www.disneycruiser.info/obstruct.htm ENJOY YOUR VERANDAH! :)

Thank You. I have been reading the boards for a year and a half. I finally signed up to get writing priveledges so I could post a trip report! We have been on 3 Magical and Wonderful Cruises over the past year and I feel it is time to contribute. There is soooo much valuable info on these postings to give a Disney Traveler a leg up on the best vacation there is! Now all I have to do is figure out how to customize my posting format with a family picture and continue to spread the good word! Thanks again for the "Welcome"!!!!:sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

tigger12jb-
We stayed in 7120 which I think is the same room on the other side and thought it was great. It was me and my boyfriend and we loved it for a couple reasons:

1- Like CRSNDSNY said. This room used to be classified as a category 5 but due to complaints of an obstructed view was reclassified to a category 7. So you are getting a category 5 for cheap. (This scrooge in me likes that).

2- The location is great if elevators are crowded (which I hardly ever found) to walk down to the fourth floor (main atrium, Parrot Cay, Shutters etc) or to walk up to the 9th floor for the pools, drink station, spa etc.

3- It was quiet being under other rooms rather then under the pools, dining rooms etc (obviously depends on neighbor)

4- The secret aft 7 was a great place to relax!

So be happy you have a great room - now you just have to wait for your cruise!

We stayed in 7620 this past September. There is an obstruction on the right side of the verandah (standing on the verandah looking out)but it is not bad at all. DH, DD-9 and I were still able to stand at the railing at the same time with out any problems. Like Crsndsny said, check out Barb and Tony's site. It will give you a good idea of how the obstruction is. I would definately request that room again.

Tigger, just curious, did you request this room or was it just assigned to you. I wonder if the 4 rooms that are secret verandas are the first cat 7s to go...Anyone know the answer? Tigger when are you cruising?

we were originally put in 7622 then after checking around i learned about the select rooms that used to be Cat 6's so I emailed TA at Dreams and she checked on availability of these rooms and 7620 was available so she moved us into it. We will be on the 7 day land/sea on Wonder set to sail Feb 10 - 17 2005, for my son's second bday
THANKS
