Stateroom 6006 on Magic

We've stayed in 6008 right next door. Essentially the same room. We liked it as it's convenient to the forward stairs/elevators. Makes it great for going up to deck 9 or down to deck 4/3. We used the stairs most of the time.

Being so far forward is great assuming you will debark from the forward gangway. If not you can just run along a lower deck to get to the aft gangway.

I like the big window, it's much nicer than the two smaller windows on the lower decks, though I miss the crashing waves against the windows on the lower decks (rough seas are fun!).

Anything else? :)

We'll be in 6004 in October '03 which is on the other side of you. The location sounds great to me! It does have a large porthole window, but so do the cabins on deck 2. We had one in January and loved being so close to the ocean. Deck 1 has the two smaller portholes (I like the one large one!). We'll see if we like being on deck 6 and watching the waves from up there and remembering them from deck 2. We chose deck 6 to be close to our friends who are in an inside stateroom on deck 6, and also the convenience of being on the middle level of the ship. I'm sure we'll like it and you will, too!

Tina :)

We had that exact stateromm on our 2001 christmas cruise. As rcostello1 said it is a good lacation. You do feel more of the movement of the ship being way forward. But if the seas are calm you can't feel anything.

Ahhhhh the memories you brought back by asking about 6006!

Slowly I turn! Step by step! Inch by inch! LOL. Made me think about the Three Stooges gag about Niagra falls!

OK, I'M LOSING IT! LOL

Have a great time!
