Before I book our vacation with a travel agen they have us “reserved” for stateroom 2542 on Disney Dream. Can you tell me how this room is please? The thing that I’m worried about is it being right next to a main bathroom can you tell me if it’s ok or should I see about a different room?

I saw the room reports I was mainly curious about how the proximity to a main bathroom is...does it smell? Does it get busy? Things like that. I do see it’s under a nightclub which may or may not be an issue with 2 kids trying to sleep...

Would it be aweful to ask for a box fan with our reservation? Is that possible?

Pretty sure if the bathroom was a problem it would be mentioned in the reviews...

From looking at the reviews I believe the nightclub references are for Magic/Wonder, not Dream/Fantasy. (Personally I would not stay unde a nightclub even if the cruise was free, but I hate bass thumping sounds.) Regarding the bathrooms the entrances to them are not on your corridor if I remember correctly—you walk out from the restaurant and the entrance is central ship, not down the residential corridor (someone pls correct me if I’m wrong) so if there were stinky whiffs they’d be on the opposite side of your cabin entrance.

Thanks everyone. My husband was like “just book the room! I don’t care where it is located” having 2 kids I do worry about the night club and it keeping them awake but we also sleep with box fans and if we drive in we can just bring one to hopefully drown out some noise. He also told me that this vacation could include him getting slapped in the face everyday and he’d still be happy lol

Be aware they will have to inspect the fan and might take it away. I'd be prepared with a white noise app on your phone.

well...that sucks :/ that was my go to in hopes of drowning out noise. How long does the nightclub stay open?

@lookame - did you see my post above that I do not believe you are under the nightclub? You look to be under lobby and Guest Services to me. See https://www.cruisecritic.com/disney-dream-deck-plans/dp/?shipID=548&deck=3 - compare that to Deck 2 (you appear to be right by midship/2nd set of elevators so that's a good reference point when comparing across decks) - https://www.cruisecritic.com/disney-dream-deck-plans/dp/?shipID=548&deck=2

At any rate, if you don't like the stateroom your travel agent is assigning you are by no means stuck with it - ask for another one!

Oh thank you so much for that @fredandkell! I didn’t think to compare the above deck. You guys have helped SO MUCH! Now that you guys have told me the layout somewhat I feel a lot better about the location and there are perks of that room as well (close to elevators and somewhat close to enchanted gardens). I appreciate all your help!
