Ok also get there early doesn't mean get there at 6 am when the park opens. The line will be long. As I have heard some ppl line up the night before. So
1. Line up hours before park opens or
2 get there after the initial crowd enters the park so like 6:30-7 am? But then you may miss the cool stuff in the morning like the Disney announcements I have heard they do on special days.

If I were there on a 24 hour day id have lined up by no later then 3 am. Ready to go in. Do not worry you will be surrounded by Disney fans. I'd try and find ppl here on the boards to meet up with. So I would feel like I am with family while in that long line.
If you met one of them and said ok I will be lining up at such and such time and they said the same time you guys could be in line together. Just something to think about.
Bring lots of water and snacks.

Also to those arriving late in the day. I would have some back up plans ready. Just in case you can't get in. I also would not do the BB that night because you may not get in for it. I'd book another day.

Ok hope I helped.I don't like crowds but if I had a chance I think I would make it work. Good luck and again. Have fun. You are at Walt's park, you will be there for 24 hours. Go see all the new shows. Take it all in and remember it is a special day this is why it will be a 10 on the crowd levels.

I've decidied not to think about it . We arrive a few days before the 22nd and plan to get on all the rides that are our priorities and see the shows. We will be getting up early those days so don't plan to get up early on Friday too. We have an 11 year old too. Plan to try to get in later in the day, if too crowded, it will be a pool day. May add another park ticket and go for a little while Sunday morning before we leave.
