Starting Price for Barbie & Princess suitcases???

Hi to all again,

For all of you seasoned ebayers out there, I would truly appreciate your thoughts.

I have just come across two children's rolling suitcases one is barbie and the other is from the Disney Store and has the princesses on it. I had forgotten that my girls even had these. they are in excellent condition and really cute. Here our my questions:

1. Would these be good items for ebay?

2. What category would you list them under?

3. What would you do for a starting bid price?

I also found two adorable winnie the pooh bean bags in totally awesome shape! They could use some additional filling but the outsides are great! Very Bright primary colors and really cute. Same questions apply here! Thanks for input yet again!

I would look on ebay to see if they're anything like that already there to see what that price is. You also need to figure out how much shipping is. In my experience, most people hate to pay alot of money for shipping. So if they do bid on you auction and shipping is high then they'll bid very little to keep the overall cost down.

I have been doing alot of browsing for children's suitcases on ebay (not those characters, though, I want different ones) and I seem to be finding most of them under travel-luggage. I think they're a good item for ebay, but I did notice that the ones starting over $20 didn't seem to be getting bids although they were NWT. Like Lilmamibella said, it's best to research how they've sold for before, how much the bidding started at, how much shipping was on the ones that sold well.

Thanks for your replies...I have researched and not noticed anything quite like what I have. there is a looney tunes suitcase on there but it is smaller than what I have and not as cute, and the starting bid I think was 5.00.

I think I will listen mine under the toys category with tv characters etc...I think with a gallery photo that maybe it would get seen more than under luggage and travel and I will start the bid low at .99. they are not worth anything to me know my girls have out grown them.

There is a bean bag like mine on right now so I think I will wait and see how that one goes. Thanks again guys.
