Starting a business

So I think I'm going to buckle down and start putting my business ideas together.
Can anyone recommend a site or software that kinda walks you through the points of putting together business plans, projections and such that are needed to secure financing.

We owned a business many years ago and went through all this but it was my FIL that did that stuff and unfortunately he has passed away.

Your local small business association(SBA) should have these kind of classes and materials as well as the contacts you need. Usually classes and materials aren't very expensive and the good SBAs also will help you write a decent business propsal.

I was going to check them and SCORE out. I was hoping in the meantime I would kinda get my feet wet.

When we had our business before I did all the marketing and PR, retail sales and general labor. My MIL did the books and my FIL handled the other stuff.
