Starter/Booster sets of Pins

It’s been years since we’ve been to the parks and my daughter just asked if I have any traders left. How much are the starter or booster pin sets that have the 4, 5, 6 or 7 pins in them that are meant for trading? I have a bunch of trader sets still on the card and in original plastic sleeves from 2010 - 2014 and thinking she could trade those off if the new sets are too expensive now. Disney store dot com is not showing any listed today.

Are there still outlets near Disney World that sell old stock? I remember that sometimes they sell the pins there if you go right when they put them out on the shelves.

Even as adults we usually have a few pins with us to trade. 99.99% of the pins traded are not the more expensive collector type pins. Most people are buying sets at under $1 per pin. Most of the the pins in these lots are CM pins (you can tell because they have a tiny hidden mickey on the fronts) - those are the pins Disney gives CMs to trade.

The cheapest pins you can buy direct from Disney are between $5-10 each pin, even in sets. In theory it’s be nice if people were trading these, but it might be disappointing to offer these up yourself because it is going to be rare to see anything other than what’s described above.

There are many places to trade! The parks all have 1 or 2 spots. Most of the stores have a board you can ask to trade with. CMs often have pins to trade. There are boards at the resort community halls and even many restaurants have them at the checkin podium.
