Started nutrisystem yesterday!

Need to lose about 55 lbs. NS worked very well for me three years ago but due to an unexpected job loss I had to stop. My goal is to lose 25-30 pounds for my June 17 trip. After the trip I will reevaluate NS vs. WW since WW is cheaper.
Searched NS on here and didn't see much, so thought I'd post in case anyone else is thinking about it.

Update....I'm on the last day of the "fast 5" week and have lost 6.2 pounds. Going well. Having the main food sent to me and the extras spelled out specifically seems to be the way to go. Plus I found out that costco has $100 nutristem cards on sale for $60 this month (plus a $4surcharge if you are not a member). Even after the sale they are $80. So if I spend $520 I can get $800 worth of the food, which is almost three months!

That's fine. I searched here before I started NS and never saw anything; that's why I decided to start a thread in case anyone else is curious.

I started Nutrisystem on thursday, down 2 lbs, so far. I bought the starter pack from walmart, til my food comes. Should I be losing more, than this. any suggestions?

Had my second weigh in. Down 7.8 total. They say you should lose 1-2 pounds a week. The nutrisystem boards are very helpful.

Update...finished week 4 and down 14 pounds.
