Its usually the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th week of January. I started the 2nd (Jan 12th). I recommend going the first week because its cool meeting the new CP's coming in every week. Its easier to remember names and figure out who is a CP and who is part time and full time as well.

Do they let you choose the date you come down?

Do you start working when you move in? And does the date you move in change when you leave?

You'll meet at Vista Way in the morning of the first day. There you will do some paperwork and chose your apartment. You move all your stuff in, and then you go casting. This is where you do A TON of paperwork and find out your work location. After that, you have a couple days off to get unpacked (go to the parks with your roommates). Then you go to traditions, and then finally start training.

If you start the 1st week you leave on the 12th of May. If you start the 2nd week you leave the 12th of May as well. Then every week following that you leave one week later. You will see all the arrival and departure dates when you're accepted. You will pay your $100 and chose your dates.

Just to clarify a couple, you can't go into the parks free until after traditions when you get your Disney id. Your housing id will not get you in. When I worked at turnstiles, many new cps didn't understand that and we had to turn them away at the gates. So if you want to go into the parks to play, during those couple days off to settle in, then you have to buy a ticket. My suggestion, go to dtd! It's free and the shops are great! Or go resort hopping and look at all the amazing details that go into them :)
Also, I used to think that you would pay 100 dollars up front to secure your spot in the program, but some resent program attendees said that changed, its now 300 or something like that, so that your first week of rent comes from that instead of twice from your first pay check.

Oh yeah, i guess youre right. I didn't think about that. I never went to the parks on those couple days because i had my lifeguading stuff to do. Thats no good about the increase in that initial payment too. :sad2:

Yeah I was surprised when I found out. I makes sense why they did it but it still put me off for a second. It's frustrating when they change things, like the site! Lol.

No problem :goodvibes
