I checked the entertainment schedule and the parade at MGM is scheduled for 5:30. Is there any way to see the parade and make it to the 6:15 showing of Beauty and the Beast and get good seats for both shows? Anyone know?

Last week we went to the parade and then to the 6:15pm Indiana Jones show and had no problems. We sat near the entrance to the show and just hopped right over. I'm thinking the parade was less than 20 mins. You might scope out a seat as near to the theater as you can and then quickly head over. I think it can be done.

The key to your question is probably the phrase "good seats". The B&TB theater is very close to the end of the parade route. As such, you may get caught up in a wave of people who were positioned closer to the start of the route.

There is enough time that you should be able to get to the theater, but I wouldn't necessarily count on a prime seating location.

Position yourself right at the corner of Sunset & Hollywood so you can have a direct way to go to the theater. Plus, the parade comes from Hollywood, going towards Echo lake so it will end first right by you. As the previous poster said, you might not get first row center, but you should get seats, assuming you get ahead of the rest of the parade crowd.

Or you could stake out a spot close to the parade start in front of Star Tours. Then, once the parade passes you, head down to the theatre on the street behind the parade route. We were in this area and took some great pics but didn't get stuck in the crowded areas.
