Starlord and Groot

This is my first time posting, and sorry if in the wrong category. We are 6 weeks from being back in WDW, and first time since 2010 !?!?!?! I know... it will be my DS5 first visit and I wanted to know if anyone has heard when starlord and groot will stop meeting at DHS? My son's favorite gaurdian is groot would he would be so excited to meet him.

Also is Cruz Ramirez still meeting at DHS also? If yes any time on when she is ending?

FYI, it's Baby Groot, not grown-up Groot. Have you seen the photo? It looks like he's up on a stand or something. I don't think he's interactive, and I don't think he's... um... a best friend of a castmember is I think the way it is phrased. Or something like that. So I think it's more like you're "seeing" him than "meeting" him.

I'm sure somebody will hop in and correct me if I'm wrong.

You are correct. Baby Groot is animatronic. Star Lord talks to him and acts like it's interactive, but it's really just him repeating "I am Groot" in different tones.

It is interactive in the sense that it isn't just randomly saying 'I am groot'. There is someone controlling him from somewhere so he is 'involved' in the conversation.

He definitely wasn't when I was there, or someone was controlling it extremely poorly.

The guide Saturday said Cruz met on Pixar place I'd assume she's by the third track exit (where they did the Doctor Strange streetmosphere thing in Nov)
Re: Starlord I know Moana left shortly after the movie came out on DVD so Starlord could be leaving in the next few weeks especially if there is a downtime to transition one mans dream into Disney presents or he could wind up there til Coco takes over

In case anybody isn't quite as obsessed with GOTG 2 as I am, they might not know that PP is referring to the fact that the DVD comes out on Aug.22.
