Starfish Beach Grand Cayman

Hi everyone!

We are cruising in Nov 2025 and will be headed to Grand Cayman. My so has his heart set on seeing some starfish and I was thinking an excursion to starfish beach would be great. After reading reviews of the DCL provided excursion (Exclusive Sneak Peek to Grand Cayman Highlights - G79, the only one we can go on with a 3 year old) it doesn't sound like a great experience. Are there other options with DCL or outside of DCL to this beach or are there private tours that we can take to see some starfish? Any reviews on this particular excursion?

We did a 3 stop tour with Captain Marvin’s. They were really great. The beach is small and there isn’t really anything else to do there but my kids really enjoyed the starfish. And you can take your 3 year old.

I would recommend Captain Marvin's also. We have done this same tour through them. Stingray city is a cool experience, we enjoyed the starfish, and if you do not wish to snorkel, you can just enjoy the boat.

If you want to go just to Starfish Point, and nothing else, you might look at renting a car or chartering a boat.
