This month, the LEGO Store will move into a temporary location in the Downtown Disney District, while its permanent site gets a complete LEGO overhaul! Guests will enjoy a brand-new interactive outdoor play area, all-new play areas inside the store, and of course, new large-scale LEGO models located both inside and outside the re-imagined LEGO Store.

With rumors galors when it was announced Compass Books would be closing, all sort of ideas came up as to what the space would be used for. I'm guessing first it will be the temporary LEgo Store location.

The Lego Store is getting remodeled.

Well the Lego store needed fixin' up. When we were in there last year I was shocked by how filthy it was.

Over at the former Island Charters shop, work is underway to convert the space into a temporary LEGO Store location while the main LEGO location gets ready to close for a major remodeling project.
