OOOOOOHHHHHHHH my, this is my new weakness. Where is the little 'smilies' thing for a girl drooooollling? We need one of those.:drinking1 Has anyone tried this yet? I bought one the other day thinking 'this will probably be too sweet'...well, nope. It's just right (in my opinion).

It's kind of a mix between chocolate covered cherries and a yummy, smooth coffee. It is the best drink I've tasted there. I usually like the white ch. mocha- but this cherry one is way better! I hope they keep it around.

There was some other drink there about 2 years ago that I loved, then they quit selling it. :sad2: and when I asked the guy he said 'I'm shocked that they pulled it from the menu, because it was one of our top sellers.' Oh, well

I had one instead of a full breakfast this morning...a drink and a fruit soy joy bar...

I'd rather allow myself 'small pleasures' here and there (like once a week) than go with out them. If I allow my self to do it occasionally, I don't go crazy with a ton of it and have horrible cravings.

everything is fine in moderation.

My sister called me yesterday to tell me I HAD to try this! She said its her new favorite. Can't wait to try it now. :) She said it tasted like a perfect chocolate covered cherry. YUM!

I'm pregnant - I won't allow myself to eat crap for breakfast. ;)

OMG I can has nommy drink? (Sorry, had to.)

Treats like this are nice every once in awhile. And I can get it in decaf!

I'm not either, so I believe I will enjoy the heck out of having one a week. I understand you not wanting to though, because I would eat super healthy when I was expecting. Don't believe I was quite so 'straight forward and snarky' when I was pregnant though...maybe it works for some people. Good luck with that.

This sounds really yummy! I wonder if you can get it "skinny"? I usually get all of my Starbuck's yummy drinks "skinny". They don't taste quite as good, but it's worth saving a few calories!

I had a sample and it was delcious! I don't think you can do a skinny, totally. You can do skim and maybe sugar free chocolate (not sure if they have it) but they don't have sugar free cherry.

Yeah, you can get it skinny (saved me 130 calories!!!). I did last time- non-fat milk and no whipped cream. It was still yummmy! I don't think I went 'all the way' skinny though, because I still had the regular flavorings- not the sugar free.

WOW...being pregnant is not an excuse to be rude to others. It might not be a healthy choice for you right now HOWEVER there is nothing wrong with others enjoying a great tasting coffee drink for a treat once in awhile.

Oh I can't wait to tell my husband! He loves cherry and chocolate together, he will be very happy to hear he can add his other favorite to the mix, caffeine!!
I'm pregnant too, and I totally eat crap from time to time :) And I even drink a cup of coffee a day *gasp*! And if I liked chocolate and cherry I would totally get a tall with a single shot *double gasp*! A woman can not live on avocados, cottage cheese, and soy dogs alone dang it! I need some caffeine and chocolate in my life!!! (and apparently so does my doctor, because she's pregnant and drinks coffee too. And I saw a Mr. Goodbar on her desk!)
And I have two perfectly healthy babies at home who seem to have survived all the crap just fine!

LOL I'd die without some of the crap! I'd just perish! :lmao: Mmmmm... soy dogs. I've been having a little half-caf too... I need to stay awake ;)

Wow - I just read the tall with NO WHIP has 240 calories. I think I'll be passing on this drink.

I'm very glad you haven't had crippling food aversions that cause you to eat whatever you can hold down or think about eating.

I wasn't like that. I burst into tears over a plate of deelish cheese enchiladas because the cheese had gotten just a bit too cold and congealed and I almost hurled. I couldn't enter a grocery store from about the start of the second trimester on because I could smell every single thing that had EVER spilled in that place, and the meat/fish area was too heinous to even think about.

It went on and on. I ate what I could. Despite my best intentions when not pregnant or in early pregnancy (first tri, before it all hit).

What was SUPER fun was when I got THIRD trimester "morning" sickness. Broken blood vessels in my face AND my chest. The food aversions got worse too by then.

Didn't matter one little bit what might have been "crap" or not by then...fetus had to be fed and I preferred to not faint from low blood sugar.

I truly hope nothing like that happens in your pregnancy, but do know that it *could* happen as time marches on. It's HARD to want to eat better but be incapable of doing so (without throwing everything up, which is a waste of food, calories, and money).

Saw the dark cherry mocha on the sign the other day...thought it would be too sweet as well! Might have one in decaf now...took a massive, week-long headache to kick the coffee-caffeine addiction, and I have no interest in it starting back up. Tea-caffeine is much smoother for me, but I'm like a heroin addict when it comes to coffee-caffeine...just one caffeinated drink will get the addiction back! :rotfl:

I had one of these this morning and it was FABulous!!! I love it when they come up with new flavors, I get sick of having a white chocolate mocha every single day! My favorite recently has been the Creme Brulee Latte they did over Christmas, which was so good!

Oh, and my mom ate absolute crap when she was pregnant with me! She told me she was so sick the first three months that all she could stomach was chocolate and cheddar cheese - so that was all she ate!!! I'm perfectly fine, although both chocolate and cheese are my favorite foods!

I haven't had too much Starbucks lately, but wanted to try it. I had it yesterday for the first time and it was love at first sip. I immediately texted my sister:).

Me too! After I had my first I told myself it would be OK to add crap accordingly with my second.:lmao::rotfl:

I have to pick up my son later and will be right next door to a starbucks - woo hoo:woohoo:

My DD and I had a sample of this last week.

It was WONDERFUL! I wouldn't have one everyday, but as a special treat yes!

BTW, when I was pregnant I asked my grandmother if she gave up coffee when she was expecting. "Lord no" she said "I would have never gotten anything done without my coffee!" She delivered 10 healthy children, so I thought a cup a day couldn't hurt!
