Starbucks Coupons Question?

Where do people get the Starbucks coupons? I have seen them before but never bothered to ask where people get them. I don't drink a lot of starbucks but my sister who is pregnant calls me every day asking me if it wasn't to much work could I bring her over a coffee from starbucks really fast. I was just wondering about the coupons as they would be nice.

I just went to their website and they do not have a place to sign up for coupons online.

I get mine from ebay. They usually wind up costing me about 1.50-2.00 a piece and I will use them to buy a 5.00-6.00 drink. They really are only good for expensive drinks and I like cappacino with extra espresso so it works for me.

This is how I have gotten a few in the past. I didn't even ask or complain but when the manager saw that I had been waiting longer than necessary to receive my drink, he brought over a coupon for a free drink. Other than that, I have never seen coupons at Starbucks.

That's the only time I've gotten one too. They made me the wrong drink and I just asked if they had changed the recipe. She realized her mistake, made me a new one, and gave me a coupon for "one free anything." She said it was because I was nice and didn't yell at her. I can't imagine the kind of people they must have to deal with every day.

They give my son coupons all the time cause he's cute, I guess. They've never given me one but I've used his,lol! I've never seen one other than the ones he gets when I send him in to get my latte.

I've gotten coupons in the mail from them. Mostly when they are opening a new store in the area. I have no idea how I got on their mailing list though.

I have gotten Caribou Coffee coupons, but only when new stores are opening up.

This sounds so familiar . Starbucks must have come up with it's own version of the secretive and baffling system Disney uses to determine who receives those elusive resort discount postcards/e-mails .

I have gotten a coupon after subpar service like an incorrect drink or forgetting my order. I am a pretty even keel person, so I've never wigged out about it. Maybe staying calm in the midst of poor service gets the coupon. I have only received 2 coupons, I guess that can be good and bad.

I see the coupons on ebay all the time.
