The coffee at Disneyland used to be notoriously bad (Nescafé)? What is it like these days? Is the Starbucks available everywhere or just in certain places? Thanks!

Starbucks is available at the 4 Starbucks locations. Coffee elsewhere is I believe Nescafe.

Oh, ok! Where are the locations? I know about the Fidler cafe in CA. Is Holly Jolly one?

For Starbucks? Fiddler in DCA, Market House in DL. There are two Sbux locations in DTD. One next to WoD, the other is at the west end of DTD, but I don't know exactly where. All the rest of the places serve Joffreys.

Besides the two listed above in the parks, there are two SB's in DTD.

100% correct! And it's yuck! Not as bad as Nescafe, but still yuck.

wow do I DISagree! It's a smallish Florida-based coffee roastery that has always been quite nice. For espresso, at least.

Now the one issue that Anaheim and Orlando have with brewed coffee is their utterly heinous WATER.

Agree on the water. When I lived in So Cal we called it 'beach water' because it was so heavily treated. We always bring bottled water to make the room coffee. Now that they have K-cup brewers I expect we'll be bringing our own coffee, too.

As far as Joffreys, I guess it's horses for courses. The coffee I had at Jolly Holiday was pretty rank and I would assume they use filtered water to make it. Personally, I wish they could use Blue Bottle Coffee, but that's never going to happen.

Other coffee choices include Peet's at Haagen Dazs in DTD and at Ghirardelli in DCA. The Joffrey's served at NR and S55 is supposed to be a special blend just for the Disney hotels. DH wasn't too impressed, but he prefers Starbucks. La Brea Bakery in DTD serves Silverback. And there is a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on Katella on the ground level of the Springhill Suites, to the west of CVS.

It's funny, everyone's tastes are different. I can't stand Starbucks brewed coffee, they burn the beans for that distinct taste, but I don't like it at all. Their espresso drinks are good though!

Haven't tried Joffreys yet...hoping it's better than I remember park coffee ;)
