We went to World of Disney last Saturday and they had the tumblers. They were handing them out back by the fitting rooms and they increased the price to $49.99 from the first day when we bought one for $39.99

Sadly, price is dictated by demand. If people are willing to pay that much, then that's what they are worth. I however, would never pay that much for a plastic cup.

I agree with you, we bought one the first day for my daughter's friend, and then my friend wanted one, but not after she saw the price increase....$50 for a plastic cup?!?

Thanks for the replies- hoping the tumbler will be available next October! (I'll give it a place of honor in our glass cabinet with a single spotlight & will dust it weekly while wearing white cotton gloves- I'm half kidding...)

I said I wouldn't pay that...until my daughter said that was only thing she wanted for her Birthday. She's going to be 29 end of this month. Like a good momma, I waited 45 minutes for World of Disney to open up 2 weeks ago and got her one. With AP discount it comes to 39.99... the original price. I was a bit annoyed with that $10 increase
