My DD10 does not enjoy the Star Wars movies, but her DS8 loves them and can't wait to go to the Star Wars attraction at MGM. DD10 is hoping you all can tell her something about whether she will enjoy the attraction even if she doesn't inherently love Star Wars. Any insight?

Thanks! party:

Seeing as we are on Star Wars Can anyone tell me if I got a fastpass after lunch or tried to would I have a real long wait till the window? We will be in another area most of the morning and have late breakfast adr's . So probably wont be that way till noonish.Robo where are you!!!

Like all Disney rides there is a story. Even if you don't know the Star Wars stories from the movies, the ride will make sense. And really, it is only a short time so if she doesn't enjoy this ride in particular, it won't be a huge time investment! She will have fun, and that's what matters.

Does she like simulator rides? If so, then I think that she will like it. Basically, during the ride, "you are in a shuttle while a battle is going on". I think that it is a great simulator ride. Of course, I am also a Star Wars fan, so I may not be the best judge. :)

Star Tours is my mother's favorite ride. She is not a Star Wars fan by any means.

She definitely does not have to be a Star Wars fan to enjoy the ride. In fact, I was a little disappointed that it was not more Star Wars-like. The walk-up was very decorated like Star Wars but the actual ride could really be any space ride. As the earlier poster said, as long as she enjoys sims she'll like it!

Just wait until the battle scene. Then she'll love it. The queue line can be a bit overwhelming for someone who doesn't like Star Wars, though. You can tell her to be a great big sister and endure (Endor, crack myself up) the ride for her brother. Plus, it empties out into a nice gift shop. Then buy her an ice cream afterwards.

The ride is so cool regardless of she likes star wars or not, :ewok: it was one of my favorites, but I am biased I am running around right now with 2 sticky buns attached to my head in honor of princess leia (J/k) :yoda: :chewy: :darth:

My DD was 6 when she rode for the first time last year. She had never heard anything about star wars. All it took was one ride and then we saw the Star Wars parade, and she was hooked. We had to watch the movies when we came home, and she was Leia for Halloween!

Thanks everyone! That really helps alot! I'm going to show her this thread and then drag her with us! :yay:
