Hello Everyone

I like to go do disney every 2 years (actually I would like to go every day but money stops that from being a reality...not fair!)

Anyhow we are booked in for next year to go from September 27th until 13th October. We are wanting to try and experience most seasons at disney. We would like to do christmas some time but as we want children in a few years we thought it would be best to leave that until then as it will be cooler etc.

So...we were thinking for 2009 (I know it is ages away) to go when the star wars event is going on as my Hubby loves star wars. :yoda: :darth: :chewy: :ewok:

However I am curious about the following and would be grateful for any tips you can give on them:

1) Are the crowds very busy? :scared: (we always normally go when crowds are light as we dont like a frenzy)

2) Is it very hot? :beach: (we have been in september and it was lovely, it was hot enough to wear shorts and vest tops all day and night but not too humid etc)

3) Is it more exspensive to go at this time of year? :teacher: (we also tend to go when it is the cheapest!)

Well thats it...any tips guys?

Having just come back from our second star wars trip I can give you some answers

1) it is busier than in september. First couple of days we had 10 - 20 mins wait times the last couple of days just before Memorial day it was 70 mins for Space & splash.
However parks are open late, MK was open one evening till 03.00!!!

2) Again, hotter than later in the year, temps were 30 all week, not very humid. one afternoon a thunderstorm.

3) can't help you there.

Star Wars weekends are great! see my trip report for photo's

Well im going on Friday for the final SW weekend :teeth: so will be able to answer this qu better then. But as for expense we got a great deal, although it was pretty last minute! Our package of flights and hotel is only £209 pp ... but only for a week. Although it wasn't too much mor for 2 weeks we couldn't do it due to work etc. So if your willing to wait you can snag a good deal!!
