Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone has any information on next years Star Wars Weekend at Disney MGM. We visited Disney World for the first time this year and had the time of our lives, unfortunately the Star Wars weekend started the day after we returned home.

We would like to go back next year to co-inside with the release of the third and final Star Wars film and was hoping to take in the Weekend.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the DIS, Hull FC. I'm very glad you found us and I hope you will visit often.

I have never attended a Star Wars weekend and I don't know the plans for next year.

They do not always have Star Wars weekend. Two years ago when we went it also coincided with the opening of a new Star Wars movie and they did not have Star Wars Weekends at all that year. Used the weekends for publicity some where else. Not sure of the details but we were extremely disappointed that they did not have them. We did make it this year for the opening weekend and it was great!! My son and nephews loved it!!

My DS7 really enjoyed it. The characters are everywhere and easy to meet. I wouldn't waste my time waiting in a long line to hopefully get an actors autograph. I waited to get Anthony Daniels fasspass with everyopne else in the park while DH took DS to ride Star Tours before it got crowded. Everybody else went to thefastpass line. Before I got up there they were only handing out standby tickets so I left. Wasted 35 minutes for nothing. DS said he would like the autograph but didn't really mind they I didn't get it. But he enjoyed everything else including the STar Wars weekends pins and meeting Jedi Mickey. I would definitely go again. We went on a friday and it wasn't too crowded.

Yeah, I have heard a lot of rumors that there will not be a Star Wars Weekend in 2005. There has never been one the same year that a Star Wars movie was released.

We went to the last Sunday of Star wars while we was there. MY teens loved it and got a bunch of pictures with some really cool star wars characters. We also did the meet the stars and if you want to do that you better go early and get the fast pass. (it is by millionaire show) We got ours at 9:00 and the next time we looked they were all gone. MY daughter got to meet Daniel Logan from Episode 2 and he was really nice and funny. Just for a little insight, we also was going by the Lake Buena vista outlet mall and saw on the sign that Daniel Logan was signing autographs at Notable and Notoriety so she got to get another picture with him! May be worth checking if that is normal for the star wars people to be there. We also played the special Star Wars millionaire again get the fat pass early because they only run two of these special ones. They had a character in the hot seat at first and one in the audience. It was fun! My kids are excited about going next year during Star wars.

I believe the year they didn't have Star Wars Weekends coincided with the Star Wars Celebration in Indianapolis. The Celebration will be held again next year, so I don't know what that means for Star Wars Weekends in WDW. Hopefully, they still have them!
