Star Wars Weekends in Oct???

Just spotted this on the main trip planning boards, here's a link to the official WDW site stating Star Wars weekend dates in October:

Any word on whether this is true or just a mis-type somewhere. I'd love it to be true!!!

I'd also love it to be true but sadly it looks like a misprint as it says the year is 2394!!

The website is all wrong, it says Pirates and Princess event coming in August but gives dates in June

Makes me wonder if someone's got into their systems and messed things around? Hope they get it fixed soon, I want to get planning my ADRs!

May and June I think (or all the dates fall in June - cant remember exactly).

I cant believe how lucky we were to get there while its on. DS9 is a massive Star Wars fan. I didnt realise MGM done anything like this until after I booked our holiday (14-28 June). Looking back on previous years, I thought we were going to miss out completely as it always seemed to end the weekend before the middle of June, so I was delighted (!!) when they released the dates and realised its on for both the weekends we are there! Result

In fact, the itinerary has been changed so that our first day in a park (Fri 15/6) is MGM

When i read the title to this thread i thought "oh, no". We always seem to go when it's Star Wars Weekends - dare i say that we hate Star Wars and don't know any of the characters from it!! The thought of it being in October (no matter what year) fills me with dread

But DS loves it, so I might as well try to get excited about it

we tend to go last week in may first week in june,and its usaly on thouse weeks.Would get to MGM before it opens as the stormtrupers stand up over gates and put a bit of a show on
