Star Wars weekends for 2007

Are the dates for 2007 Star Wars weekends posted somewhere now? I know that they generally start in May. Does anyone have those dates handy?

Dates are usually announced in January or February.

May 18th-June 9th. It's the last 2 weekends in May and the first 2 weekends in June.

My friend and her family are planning to go the first week of June. She is coming over this afternoon. She has asked me to help her plan her trip. Today we will line out which parks for which days so we can get her restaurants/ADRs set. She can call for those next week.
I have never been to Star Wars weekends. Will the Star Wars stuff (Darth Vader, light saber battles, characters, etc.) only be out on weekends? Friend's son is a HUGE Star Wars fan! Should I suggest she plan her MGM days on the weekend? Or if she hits MGM any day on the first week of June will she be able to see Star Wars stuff?

I am hoping to find out if the Star Wars special activities happen on weekend days only or if they will be throughout the park all week long.
Will we need to schedule her MGM day for a weekend to make sure she catches it all?

We went to the Star Wars Weekend this past May. We went on Friday and all of the activities you mentioned above were going on. I would say that Friday is a good day to go (the other days are Saturday and Sunday) since you probably cut out a lot of the locals who are working or still in school.

Just wanted to mention that, according to official Star Wars fan sites, no dates are in stone yet as far as SWW goes. There's a huge Star Wars convention, Celebration IV, in Los Angeles over Memorial Day weekend and there's some question as to how this may affect the WDW Star Wars Weekend dates.

We went ahead and booked for May 13 - 20 (since the dates have historically been mid May - mid June), but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If being there during SWW is the main focus of the trip, I'd wait until official dates were released.
