Star Wars Weekends/bracelets?

Okay, as I try to pin as much as I can down in planning our May 16-23 trip, I came across information on Star Wars weekends where it says, in passing, to sign up for the Trivia games right after you get your "bracelet". ??? What are the bracelets for? Where do you get them?

The braclets each had a number on them corresponding to the number you signed up for on the sheet. There were about 25 spots and 10 standby spots available per day. They were distributed at the signup table between Indiana Jones and Star Tours. Then at the appointed time, they used the bracelets to check the people in for the trivia contest before herding them into another location. The stand bys only got in when there were no-shows for the original spots, which did happen. This was how the adult trivia contest worked. I believe the kids worked the same way but I really did not pay attention to that process. This is separate from the WWtBaM. Anyone can play that.
