Star Wars weekend trip - which resort would you choose?

My 14yo son and I will be attending the last Star Wars weekend in June, arriving MCO 9:15am on Saturday June 11, departing Tuesday June 14. We plan on attending the Star Wars weekend events on Saturday and Sunday.

If money was not an issue, which resort would you choose and why?

Would BWI be the best location?

any resorts in the BW area would be best...you can eve walk to MGM. It just depends on what themeing you want in a resort. If a pool is important you might want to concider the BC/YC....great pool! there is also the swan & Dolphin! allot of chose's!! were it is so close thou, may have to go on avaiblity

DNeph (7) and I will be there that weekend for SWW, too - we decided on the Swan because we got a great AP rate with upgrade and late check-out - and it's the most convenient to MGM, where we will start our days Fri, Sat and Sun. DH and I are also staying at the Swan in Oct for F&W, so I figured I'd check it out in advance. We own DVC at BWV and that is, so far, our favorite resort - my DS (16) loves staying there- he loves walking around the b'walk, the arcade at ESPN and the health club. You can't go wrong at any of the Epcot resorts, IMHO !

I would go with BC/YC - it is close to MGM and it has a really great pool.

I would pick the BC. My DS (7) and I are going for Star Wars Weekend as well, I wanted the BC but since this trip is a birthday/you're doing great in school present for my DS, he gets to pick. He picked POP Century, his favorite resort.

I am leaning towards either the YC/BC or BWI - which would have the best access to easy breakfast foods,etc? We don't plan on doing many sit-down meals....

I am staying at the BC May 20th. I to never do much sit-down meals....more grab and go. from what I understand BC remodeled there store, which has food. But everywhere at the Epcot resorts has places to grab...on the boardwalk, at the bakery you can even grab coffee and muffins. I think they have a caf style resturant in the swan and dolphin....so plenty around,

Since money isn't an issue, I'd go with BW or YC. If codes aren't released or money becomes an issue, then Swan/Dolphin or attempt to rent DVC points for stay at BW or BC. All in all you really can't go wrong with that entire area as basically all of those hotels almost have the same amentities and shared areas. Say hi to Darth for me and have a great time.

Leaning heavily towards YC - but a question - does Storm Along Bay really close at 8pm?
