We are going on a cruise in May and I am toying with the idea of coming back to WDW for one night after. We have never been to SWW before so I have no idea how bad it would be crowd wise. We would be going to the Kennedy space center in the morning so we wouldn't get to DHS till 5 or 6 on sunday the 18th. Is it worth it to go to DHS? SI stuff still going on? (MK is open till 1 that night so this mini trip is not just about SWW.) We are not huge Star Wars fans, so we won't really want to see the human stars for autographs or anything. I would love a pic with us and one or two of the fab 5 dressed in costumes and/or the famous characters from the movies, but it is not mandatory.

Pretty much all the SWW M&Gs, including the Fab 5, wrap up their sets by 6:00p or 7:00p. You'd be lucky to catch even one I think.

You could certainly catch the unusual fireworks show though.

you are thinking of going to HS then hopping to MK for one night?

IMO if you aren't huge SW fans I would skip HS. The lines for even the animated characters can be really really long, and if you want to have a child do jedi training you have to be there first thing to sign up (with child in tow). Now if you are a big SW fan, they are worth it with a good all day touring plan (better multi day or even multi weekend).

IF you want to add a SW finish to your trip I would say go to HS, if you want to add Disney Magic to your trip I say go to MK and close the park down until 0100!!

But I think trying to do both may leave you exhausted and disappointed at the end of your trip, UNLESS you are an ubber commando touring party sans any kids!

We are! :rotfl2: In fact I am trying to get us 2 WDW days before the cruise and then 1.5 after. Its a sad sad addiction.

I would say yes, go. If this is your only chance to be at DHS for a SWW night, go see the special fireworks and then hop over to MK. DHS rarely has park fireworks, but this is one time they do.
