Is the star wars weekend worth driving 10 hours for? I have a friend whose son is a fanatic about star wars and she wants to know what ya'll think!

When is the Star Trek weekend? Do they even have one? :confused3

I've never heard of a Trek Weekend. As for SW weekends, I've never been, so others are more qualified than I to answer the question.

There is no Star Trek weekend. As for SWW, I think it's worth the drive, but that's just my opinion.

Nope, no Star Trek Weekend. Of course, they don't have a Star Trek ride either...but they do have a Star Wars ride. :)

I've done SWW twice and absolutely love it. We drove one year for it and we thought it was worth it.

No Trek weekend because Star Trek is owned by Paramount, which has it's own string of theme parks and is a competitor with Disney.

I'd say it's worth the drive. It's a great event and lots of fun. You should check out this page for more info on the event: http://sww.mgmstudios.org/main

This is our first time going for the Star Wars weekends, but after looking at last year's pictures I think it's going to be sooo worth it. It would totally make my DS (7)s vacation if he were picked for Jedi Training. As for Star Trek, unfortunately no weekend at Disney. Live long and prosper!!!
