Star Wars Weekend dates have been announced. They will be held every Friday, Saturday Sunday from May 20- June 12.

Woo hoo - I'll be there for 2 of the weekends. Going to WDW pre and post cruise :)

Speaking of which, I really hope they move the venue this year to a place where more people can enjoy the show.

Dang! I'm just going to miss it. I have to catch this one of these years. :yoda::darth:

At the Star Wars Party they did the Hyperspace Hoopla on the stage in front of the hat. Much more room to see the show. I hope they do it for the celebration.

Looks like we're going to miss SWW this year. For the first time in a really long time we're not going to WDW in May.

You really need to get there in the future. They do a good job transforming the park into a Star Wars mecca. We had a great time with the characters last year. Great photo opportunities while they are dressed in their Star Wars costumes.

That's great to hear Kathy! It sounds like a much better setup than the Jedi Academy stage. The stage in front of the hat is much higher up giving all guests a better perspective.

I would also love to see them include the Star Wars themed fireworks - heck the Star Wars/Indy show from the Last Tour to Endor party would be cool too.

Not going this year, but thoroughly enjoyed it last May.

For those of you who ARE going, two people I would highly suggest meeting are Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka from Clone Wars) and Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca).

I've been to many "meet and greets" for various sports and entertainment celebrities, and the vast majority act like they want this damn thing over as quickly as possible. Both Ashley and Peter seem as happy to meet you as you are to meet them. My son emails Ashley after every new Clone Wars tv episode to give his opinion, and she responds within an hour or two with her appreciation and thanks. How cool is that?

Now, for what I would like to see? Sounds Dangerous torn down and replaced by a Star Wars restaurant, in the theme on the Cantina. Never going to happen, but a man can dream.
