Star Wars show cancellations due to weather...?

Has this happened recently? We are booked for the party next Weds (excited and nervous) and I am wondering how frequently this happens? I know it's summer in Orlando, if I look at the weather, basically it says 40-60% chance of rain every day. But if it only cancels out a handful of times over the entire summer, then maybe it will ease my mind. I am trying not to think about the Russian roulette with the $$$ for 5 people. Sigh. It is kind of the one thing I have basically said ok fine, yes it's obnoxiously priced but it's our splurge thing. Thoughts? Experiences?

Doesn't happen often. Florida showers are usually between noon and 4pm. Very rare if it's raining at night and disrupting your party.

Also keep in mind that even with some rain, they'll still have the show go on. You'll be inside for the desserts and stuff. It'll need to be a heavy downpour/super windy for them to cancel any fireworks

Yes kind of. They have to discharge them at some point but they can always cancel for weather (high wind and lightening) and then just shoot them off after closing. I do think they may not have to set them off if they are not inside thr parks but if loaded on a show building (i.e the castle) or the burn out that happens during Illuminations than yeah they have to be done later.

It has happened within the last six months and is likely to happen again, but it's so rare and is not worth worrying about. It's not the rain, it's lightening in the area.
