Star Wars meet and greet

quick question... having a hard time figuring this out online. If you don’t do the Star Wars tour can you still meet Chewbacca and Kylo Ren or is it only through the special tour. Trying to decide if tour I’d worth it or not. Plan to go in August. Thanks!

When we were there a couple of weeks ago they were meeting at Launch Bay. No tour needed.

You do not have to do a tour to meet Chewie or Kylo, they are at Launch Bay available to anyone who gets in line. Kylo is ok, Chewie is probably the best character meet we've ever done-a must do if you are a fan.

Yes you can just walk in and meet whichever care do you want there are separate line so you can meet you chewie only and leave or you can meet bb-8 and leave or you can meet all three it just depends on what you want to do there is no obligation or necessity to do any type of Tour..it is actually a separate kind of area. Also a reminder that Chewbacca does not sign autographs

They are all free to the public in Launch Bay
They have Kylo (normal line as well as I still believe a Chase Visa option), Chewie, and BB-8
individual queues no fastpass

I know I was hoping they at least did autograph cards cause I would of sent them to a friends nephew for christmas and of made his day

Kylo was a great character interaction with my 2. DS had a Vader shirt on and DD had her hair like Leia. Kylo told DS he sensed a strong force in DS. DS told Kylo "she is punny resistance fighter, not worth your time" while pointing at his sister. Which had Kylo starting staring down DD. Made for a great picture. We still laugh about this
