The new Star Wars fireworks are coming soon, there building a new platform specifically for the fireworks (what I've read on here), and HS has had fireworks usually nightly since mid last year...so there's no reason to think these won't be going on during the summer and beyond that.

Both happen nightly unless otherwise notified

Fantasmic! and DHS fireworks are separate and independent events.

Other than setting "start/end timing" considerations (so that guests wanting to see one, can also see the other) each can run without regard as to whether the other will take place or not.

I saw these last Monday and loved them. You do need the music. I love the music (and sound bites). It will depend on crowd levels, of course, but I found a great spot on Hwd Blvd near the corner outside Trolley Car Cafe about 20 min before the show.

I personally like the spot on the street next to Starbucks. I've found the music is easier to hear there. When you're way up front by the Chinese theater, it's spectacular views, but in my opinion, the fireworks are so loud, you can't hear the music as well.
Also from the Starbucks spot, youre in decent position to make a quick exit, and you don't have to stake out a spot too early

I'm still hoping for the new SW Fireworks for our very late May trip (if these end May 28 will the new ones debut May 29?)... So much up in the air (ROL, SWGSF) I'm still hoping that the rumor for new SW fireworks for May 28 still holds!

For what it's worth, I just checked the MDE for May 28th and it has a time for that day, but nothing after the 28th. I checked through June 2nd.

I know!! That's why I'm like (so many rumors and lack of solid information floating around) I feel as though a lot of stuff for this trip won't be ironed out until a a week or two before we leave

Yes - Stayed at Pop earlier this month. While I did not watch from the bridge (watched from the parking lot), several posters said that they watched from the bridge and the music was available on the bridge.
