Check out this story about Comic Con! Disney and Lucasfilm set a new high bar for a Comic Con presentation. Live symphony of Star Wars music introduced by John Williams and ending with the Star Wars theme to synched fireworks. Excellent job Kathleen, J.J., cast, Lucasfilm, and Disney! This is a franchise like no other in history and it deserves the best effort by all involved, including at Comic Con. They are delivering what the fans want, by all accounts. Kudos to all involved. It is impossible to do too much, or to do it too early, when it comes to Star Wars. Already this movie is trending like no other movie in history. I am so happy that Lucasfilm is now a part of Disney! Disney knows how to respect a franchise. December is coming!

The only thing to do now is see what Star Wars info is announced at D23 in August!!

Yeah, I love what I've seen thus from "The Force Awakens". It looks like they use a lot makeup, costumes and real settings unlike in the prequels. Just saying the word prequel still makes me want to puke. Thank god the nerds have gotten Star Wars out of Lucas' hands.

Yes agreed! I read that The Force Awakens is being shot on film, not in digital, and they are using a lot of physical effects. They will do plenty of digital special effects, but they will also do a lot of sets. I think this will help a great deal and give us the feel of the originals.

Chewy... I've got a good feeling about this...
