I understand. I completely disagree with the idea of a new planet but I didn’t get a vote.

I think they way they explained it today made sense. It was best to incorporate all of Star Wars rather than just one planet from the past or something like that.

The way they explained it was to be able to sell more stuff (books, movies, merchandise). As they should. I just disagree. I’m almost 45 years old. I grew up playing Star Wars, as it was in the OT. I enjoy all the new stuff. But Star Wars will always be the OT to me. Seeing them take some elements of old but changing it is odd to me. YMMV

I felt that about Destination D. Some of the info wasn't new or wouldn't have even been interesting for me to read on my own. However, being there live, with others who were truly excited about all of the info, made the event fabulous. Looking forward to a similar experience on my first D23 Expo this year.
