Would that have been western Caribbean though?
Emailed DCL to ask and was told SW at sea days will all be held on Thursdays for all sailings.
Now I wonder when lobster night will be?
This year's Star Wars day was day 5 (Wednesday). Moving it to Thursday, would put it on the semi-formal night. Unless they are either moving semi-formal night to Wednesday, or eliminating it. Moving it would mean that the Captain's Gala menu (semi-formal night menu, usually) would be on Wednesday. Eliminating it would mean no lobster.Emailed DCL to ask and was told SW at sea days will all be held on Thursdays for all sailings.

Do you mean the Star Wars day? Earlier this year (only on the Western itinerary) it was on day 5. Technically the second sea day. It appears it may be on day 6 for the next set of cruises. That would be the 3rd sea day for both Eastern and Western itineraries.last time we went, it was the second day at sea. I assume they haven't changed that?

Well, apparently not any longer. At least for those cruises. There is no 3rd sea day on the western itinerary. They put Jamaica back on the itinerary for 2017 so now there are only two sea days (day 2 and day 6) which are normally formal and semi-formal night.
Well, they weren't doing much on the Pirate night on the SW cruises in the past. It was sort of a Pirate night lite. They could keep Pirate night (such as it is) and eliminate the Prince & Princess menu. Pirate night - night 4; semi-formal night (Captain's Gala menu) - night 5, and Star Wars night 6.This was the response from Dcl
"It has been determined that Star Wars Day at Sea activities will take place on Thursdays."
It seems to me that Thursday is a fairly constant sea day on both east and west so it makes sense that they would standardize this event. It will be interesting to see if they keep a semi-formal night as well as the pirate night.
