We rode Star Tours about 6 times during our last trip. Everyone said there are over 50 trip options in the revised ride.

How many of you have seen more than two options of the ride?

The first two times we rode it, the same exact trip ran. The third ride was finally a different one. The next three rides were one or the other.

What's the trick to see different trips on this ride?

I also won't sit in the back row. My legs aren't long enough to touch the floor. During the ride I couldn't brace my feet on anything. I kept kicking the back of the seat ahead of me. I apologized to the person ahead of me at the end of the ride, they didn't even noticed...

We had a fun time and hope to get a new view when we go again.

What's the trick to see different trips on this ride?

It's random. There aren't 54 different trips. There are different beginnings, middles and endings that make 54 different combinations possible.

We went on it twice every day for a week last summer and there was still one scene we never saw. And some came up more than others. We decided that some scenes must be programed as more likely to come up than others.

Went on it for the first (and second) time(s) yesterday.

First trip saw us follow the Millenium Falcon out by Star Cruisers, then to Hoth (the ice planet from Empire) and then to some space city (that I presume was from ep. 1-3).

Trip 2 saw us confronted by Darth Vader, followed by Hoth and then thru the Death Star (the one from Return of the Jedi).

Could not believe how much fun it actually was... The original ride was great, but this was spectacular.

There are:

2 different openings
3 different 1st planets
3 different messages
3 different finales

THe combinations of these cause 54 different variations. When doing the ride in FL last year, after riding about 8 or 9 times, I got everything except one 1st Planet and 1 last planet.

When we return to DL in June, I hope to get the 2 I've missed.

Last summer I went on it once (made me sick) but the rest of my family went on it seven times, and they were able to see all the different sequences. They were missing one sequence after six times through, and were able to get it on the seventh time. We were at DLR for five days. I'm sure it was luck...no tricks involved!

I loved the scene where you feel like you're going backwards in reverse away from Darth Vader. Have only seen that at WDW but I'm sure its at DL too, but we haven't gotten that scene so far.

Between DL and WDW, I have ridden about 15 times.
Of those, I am have only missed Hoth and Corrisaunt.

I don't know how many times I've ridden......let me think......I have to say it's been less than 10 times.....probably around 6 or 7 but I might be calculating incorrectly. :) Anyway, we've seen all scenes but haven't had 1 ride be the same twice, they've all been different combinations. My favorite opening is Darth Vader, love that one!! I've been the Rebel Spy twice, that's always exciting!! lol

geemo, you must be short, I'm 5'4" and I have no problems planting my feet on the floor in the back row.....come to think of it my girls are able to plant their feet on the floor as well. I like the back row, for whatever reason it seems to affect my motion sickness less, or maybe it's the new ride sequences that have me too distracted to think about it. :)

Rode it again this evening. Darth Vader, followed by the Wookie planet, followed by Boba Fett/Death Star. So in three trips, we've had one Stormtrooper opening and two Vader openings. Two Hoth and one Wookie planet middle. And one Coruscant ending and two Boba Fett/Death Star endings.

Are there links anywhere showing pictures of the different scenes?
I don't know them by name (the planets), but I do know the characters.

Rode it for the fourth time during our trip, today. Vader followed by the pod race, Admiral Akbar and Coruscant.

All we are missing is Princess Leia and Naboo (although if Jar Jar is part of that, I'm happy to skip it).

I went on I think 5 or 6 times last trip and was incredibly blessed to get the last 2 segments I hadn't seen before on my last ride! :yay:

I know some people have gone two or three times as many times as I have and still haven't seen every segment. :headache:
